Spectacular Surprise Sailings As Royal Caribbean Delivers Next Mega-Ship Earlier Than Expected!

With news that the world’s largest cruise ship, Symphony of the Seas, will arrive earlier than the originally announced date, guests can officially now look forward to three surprise sailings!

The 31st of March 2018 is a special date for cruisers wanting to be one of the first to experience Royal Caribbean’s newest mega-ship; Symphony’s introductory cruise is a 5-night sailing, beginning and ending in Barcelona, with stops in Naples and Rome.

This ‘pre-opening’ sailing will give guests the chance to catch exclusive entertainment, access rehearsals, sample new food and amp up their adrenaline with thrills like the tallest slide at sea.

Prices start at £775 per person with flights available from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff,  Edinburgh, Belfast, Newcastle or Glasgow.

An additional newly-announced sailing boasts a 7-night cruise departing on the 7th and 14th April 2018. Ports of call will include Palma de Mallorca, Marseille, Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples (departing and finishing in Barcelona).

Prices start at £1,039 per person, including free drinks, with flights available from the above airports.

Royal Caribbean have stated they are more than happy to accommodate customers booked on the 21st April sailing on their new sailings; final ticket cost will depend on date and duration of sailing while no change fees will apply.

Whilst almost all of the dining venues onboard should be 100% ready, the cruise line may be putting finishing touches on a number of them. Selected venues such as Hooked SeafoodSM may feature a special tasting menu of regular menu favourites.

Guests should note that special pre-opening entertainment will also be onboard for the 31st March, 7th April and 14th April sailings next year, including The AquaNation, a new Aquatheatre show.

There will also be an exclusive final full-dress rehearsal of Hairspray for guests onboard the 31st March 2018 sailing with regular shows beginning from the 7th April sailing.

Regular entertainment programming will begin on the 21st April, although shows and entertainment are subject to change and where applicable, weather conditions.

Symphony of the Seas will be the fourth addition to Royal Caribbean’s oasis class and will feature special, glow-in-the-dark decking that will ensure heightened visibility in the dark aswell as standing out at sea.
