Boy George To Join Celebratory Virgin Voyages

Boy George To Join Celebratory Virgin Voyages

A sensational line-up of guests, including Boy George from Culture Club and Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, will be joining a trio of Virgin Celebration Voyages, departing later this year.

The special sailings are being hosted by the distinctly adults-only cruise line, Virgin Voyages, for the second time, to honour Virgin’s 50-year history of making waves ashore, and more recently, at sea.

The first Virgin Celebration Voyage sets sail from Miami on 30th August, calling at Puerto Plata and Bimini, for 5 nights onboard Valiant Lady. Across the Atlantic, Scarlet Lady will depart Barcelona for 7 nights, calling at Marseille, Cannes, Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza, from 1st September.

Resilient Lady sets sail for her special Celebration Voyage on 3rd September from Portsmouth for 5 nights, travelling to captivating ports in Northern Europe – such as Amsterdam and Zeebrugge (Bruges).

“Not only are we excited to bring back this special series, but we’re making a splash, doing it bigger & better than in 2023 with not one, but three incredible voyages. Once a year, our Sailors have unprecedented access to immerse themselves in the magic of both Virgin Voyages and the Virgin brand. They’ll be rubbing elbows with visionary leaders from across the Virgin family and this year’s very special guests.”

Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages

Sir Richard and Boy George will celebrate aboard these sailings alongside Virgin executives, avid Virgin Voyages guests, and even a cohort of Virgin Galactic-flown astronauts, who recently returned from space! Those onboard the sailings can indulge in a variety of shore excursions, otherwise known as Shore Things activities, fitness classes, out-of-this-world dining options, interactive workshops, and so much more.

Virgin Celebration Voyages are now available to book.
