The Miami Port is conveniently located a 15-minute stroll along the waterfront from the Bayside Marketplace, a shopping mall and dining centre with transport links to other parts to the city. A steady line of taxis are queued up at the dock to ferry you about. Many visitors will choose to rent a car to explore the greater Miami areas, since districts like Coral Gables and Coconut Grove are easiest to get to with your own transport. Most car hire companies will provide a shuttle service from the port into their rental office for your convenience.
The Miami Port offers secure parking onsite, with an option of covered and uncovered lots to choose from. You won’t have to worry about lugging your bags about on the way to the terminal either, as complimentary shuttle services are provided! Overnight parking at the moment costs roughly $22/day, but this is the most convenient option. If you’re after a cheaper alternative, Safe Cruise Parking offers a great deal at $6.95/day. This lot is located a bit further afield from the cruise terminals, with shuttle service also provided. For this option, it’s recommended to book your spot in advance.
