The Wests are on vacation….

At last the time has come for the Wests to take their annual vacation.  As I mentioned in my previous blog we are cruising on the Independence of the Seas for 2 weeks round the Med.

We are heading down to Southampton quite early Saturday morning as I think the roads will be quite busy, better to get there early than stressing about being late.  I am very much a lastminute.com kind a person, so not only was I too late to book the parking I was also too late to add on the WIFI package to the cruise personliser.  I am so organised when I book other people’s cruises helping them with online check in, making sure car parking has been booked and tickets are all in hand.  My husband can not understand how different I am at home to work.  Crisis over I managed to book a park and ride which will be great to sample (still trying to convince my husband on this one), and the WIFI package well my daughter will just have to put her phone down and communicate with us until I have sorted this out on board.  If I am honest I did this on purpose!!

I do not usually do the shows on board, but I have been told to go and see the Ice shows and the musical on board, as it has been recommended a few times I will definitely give it a go.  My son is really looking forward to the pool area and of course crazy golf, so will let you know his thoughts on this.  The husband wants to sample a specialty restaurant so will give you his honest review on this, and I suppose my 14 year old can give her honest review on the WIFI…
