Celebrations all round…..

1^st March marked a very special day for me here at cruise.co.uk as I celebrated my 20 year service.  What a lovely day I had, it started as soon as I got into the office, my work colleagues (one who I have worked with for 20 years) decorated my desk, I had some lovely gifts with one of them being a bottle of bubbles – of course my favourite!  I had some lovely cards with some lovely comments on…. I then had a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered, I really did feel very special.

I really can’t believe I have worked here for 20 years – it really has been a fantastic experience. I started all those years ago helping out with a company we had just begun acting as their General sales agents – known as Dolphin and Majesty Cruise Line.  Throughout my time I have escorted many groups from the Norwegian Fjords to New York, Bermuda and the Caribbean on lots of different ships.  When I look back I really do feel lucky that I found a job I love, travelled to some amazing places and work with a great bunch of people.  Certainly makes going to work a lot easier!

Of course lots has happened on the way, I have certainly grown up with the company, they have helped me celebrate lots of occasions from special birthdays, my wedding and best of all the birth of my 2 children.  When I first started there was just a handful of staff, now I think there are over 200, so  I have seen massive changes to the company.

When I thought my day couldn’t get any better I was then awarded by Andrew (our Chairman)  a free cruise for 2… Wow how fantastic, so with a special 20^th wedding anniversary for me next year I know how we will be celebrating!!
