Disney Cruise Line…..

I learnt so much about Disney Cruise Line over the past few months, as I was involved in organising a very large group in the Summer.   After hearing all about it from the party I would agree that it really is worth paying that bit extra to experience all the wonderful things Disney offer.   All of the group had a magical time, with the adults enjoying it just as much as the children.  Then I know from experience if the children are happy then you are too.

While talking to the group on their return I picked up a few tips which I thought I would share with you.

Rotational Dining

Each evening, you and your personal waiter staff will “rotate” to one of the main restaurants onboard the ship, giving you the opportunity to experience a unique setting while enjoying a delicious meal. The staff will get to know you after the first night so if there is something that you like or don’t like they will remember it for future. What was pointed out was to try and experience any evening at Palo (on board the Disney Magic), you pay an extra fee for this restaurant but was advised it was well worth the additional cost, while the children enjoy a fun filled evening with their new found friends you can enjoy a romantic meal with fine dining. The service, atmosphere and cuisine was amazing!
Fireworks at Sea

While you are floating in the middle of the Ocean Disney will put on a short but fantastic firework display. What a cool experience watching the fireworks explode over the water as other ships blast their horms!! Disney are the only cruise line that can provide Fireworks at sea.

Personal Navigator

With so much on offer this is certainly the best way to keep you up to date with what is going on in the day. The Personal Navigator is provided each day detailing the events throughout the day. You can also down load the app on your smart phone!

Disney Character call before you sail

What a great way to start your holiday off, I arranged for each child within the party to receive a Disney Character call a couple of days before they cruised. It went down extremely well with the children.

A great way to keep in touch with your party. Two of these phones are provided complementary for your use during the cruise.
