Spectrum of the seas

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better or bigger, Royal Caribbean are now releasing another ship, Spectrum of the seas will launch next year 2019. She will be the first in the ‘Quantum Ultra Class’ designed and built specifically for the Chinese market. Quantum Ultra is an upgraded (enlarged and enhanced) version of the Quantum-class ships.

She will sail out of Asia which is where she will be based from Hong Kong and Shanghai.  The inaugural cruise (16-night Suez Canal re-positioning itinerary) is from Barcelona to Dubai (departure on April 18, 2019).  The second re-positioning cruise segment is from Dubai to Singapore (14-night voyage themed “Spice Route Cruise”) departing on May 4, 2019.

The combined maiden voyage (51-day “Global Odyssey” Barcelona to Shanghai) visits ports in 13 countries. The relocation cruise is available in 5 segments. Cruises from Shanghai visit ports in Japan, Philippines and Far East Russia. From Hong Kong and Shanghai are offered also mini cruises (4-day, one-port itineraries) to Vietnam and to Japan.

Spectrum of the Seas_® is set to be ultra special, ultra fun and, above all, ultra Royal Caribbean. With things like a Sky Diving simulator, sky pad (bungee trampoline experience), Surf simulator, bionic bar, North star, SeaPlex  (largest at sea sports complex, with roller skating, bumper cars, circus school, full-sized basketball court), rock climbing wall plus lots more. So without a doubt she will not disappoint.

She will also have a private enclave for guests staying in suites, it;s a private adults only area with key card access with a dedicated restaurant and lounge and balcony area for sunbathing and relaxing.

Like most of the other ships this will also have lots of dinning choices, including a three level main dinning room, the windjammer will be 20% larger than others along with other specialty restaurants too, so plenty of choice!
