Balmoral part 2…

Next on our tour of the beautiful Balmoral we took a look around the public areas, starting off with the Neptune Bar, this is where you can go and see a show in the evening, then the Morning light pub which is a British style pub, the Observatory lounge next which i loved this has panoramic views and an ideal spot to have pre dinner drinks,  there’s also the Lido lounge, Book mark cafe and Marquee bar.

For dinning there is two main dinning rooms, the Ballindalloch restaurant which is on deck 6 then there is also the newly refurbished Spey and Avon restaurant on deck 10. You then have the option of the buffet restaurant for something less formal this is the Palms Cafe, perfect for guests who prefer not to dine at set times. Balmoral also has two specialty restaurants too, first is the Grill which is a small and intimate setting just towards the aft on the Lido deck, then there’s the Poolside which is just new and has themed menu’s with inspired flavours from your cruising region.

Other facilities on board Balmoral include the pool and Jacuzzi’s, i though this area was really nice with lovely loungers and seating area around the pool area. There’s also a library, games area, card room and laundry facilities on board too and not forgetting the Spa and Fitness centre, this offers a of wide range of beauty and relaxation treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and hairdressing, accompanied by stunning views provided by large picture windows .

Overall i was very impressed with Balmoral, have you sailed on her before? I’d like to know your thoughts??
