The design of Britannia is that of a Boutique hotel which has a very nautical feel to her, after all P&O has said that Britannia was inspired by our past but designed for the future and that can be seen on board.
So on my recent visit to see Britannia I was very keen to see what pieces of artwork she would have on board, and I have seen some less desirable artwork on some ships and then pieces by Vincent Van Gogh and Picasso.
I should start with the most important piece,
Now on Britannia the artwork varied but here are a few pieces.
Not sure if you could really class this as art work, but I found these in the Gym which you don’t normally find pictures in these areas so I suppose they are supposed to be Inspiring as you are having your daily workout although I am sure there are some that wont even see these!
This was rather strange – not quite sure what it was meant to be! If anyone finds out please let me know.
And my favourite piece
There was also a large use of tables with lamps and flowers on which I must say are a nice addition although I would not want to be in charge of dusting!
