‘Quantum Ultra Class’ has a new ship on the way. Royal Caribbean have yet to name the ship (or if they have, they haven’t told anyone yet!).
She’s due to be launched in Spring 2019 joining her sisters Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas.
They also announced their first ship to be based in the Asia-Pacific region.
Oasis of the Sea’s was one of RCI’s first ‘most innovative and largest ships’
It’s been almost 10 years since Royal Caribbean first cruised in China and now they’re adding their most technically advanced ship to region which is growing at a very fast speed.
The new ship will be designed specifically for the region and it’s guests needs and requirements with more experiences and amenities.
These details were released when Royal Caribbean announced their full itineraries for the next season being launched for 2018 – 2019’s China, Australia and Singapore sailings.
The much smaller ship, Mariner if the Seas will be repositioned from Asia to Miami, Florida on a sailing named ‘Global Odyssey’. This voyage will be made up of three sailings and guests can choose to do one, two or all three of the sailings – Singapore to Dubai, Dubai to Barcelona and Barcelona to Miami.
These sailings went on sale on 2nd May 2017.
Voyager of the Seas will be doing a full season in Singapore from 2018 – 2019 sailing 3 to 7 night cruises in Asia including stops in Thailand and Malaysia.
Ovation is off to Sydney in the Winter to spend her longest season there in Australia also making her the biggest ship in the whole region – quite a title to have and we know the Australians are very excited about this!
Continuing the trend set by many other cruise lines, Royal Caribbean will also start offering more ‘open jaw’ itineraries too (where you start in one port and end in another) on Radiance of the Seas between Sydney, Australia and Auckland in New Zealand. These will also be in 2018 – 2019
The on sale dates are:
2018-19 itineraries for Quantum and Voyager – went on sale April 26, 2017
Ovation – went on sale April 27
Australia and Singapore sailings will be open as of May 16, 2017
