Celebrity Apex

There are so many new cruise ships either due to be launched soon or in the early stages of build. The one causing the most excitement is the Celebrity Edge and I can see why.
Celebrity are a favourite of mine anyway . I love the contemporary design of their Solstice class ships. They are beautiful modern and large ships but manage to retain the quality you would expect to find on smaller ships.
The food is excellent and the service and personal attention is of a very high standard.
I was so pleased to here that the naming ceremony for their next Edge class ship will be in Southampton in 2020.
It goes to show that Celebrity are committed to the UK market . Their new ship will be named the Apex and this will be available to book next month.
After the naming ceremony there will be a few short cruises from the UK for anyone who wants to a have a taste of this ship without committing to a longer cruise.
In my experience it is best to book early because the prices WILL increase as more cabins are sold.
The Celebrity Edge had very good prices for the launch period but due to demand the fares have increased substantially.
If you can’t wait for 2020 why not have a look at the Edge due to launch in December.
