Happy one year at cruise.co.uk to me!

Wow, what a year it has been!  This time last year I received an email with an extensive list of cruise line training programmes I needed to complete before my training course at head office for cruise.co.uk.  Now although I have been in the travel industry for over a decade and travelled on cruise ships and to many of the destinations we cruise to I had never actually sold a cruise before, so I had a lot to learn!!

 

I was excited about the challenge but after looking at all the cruise line systems and training programmes it felt like the list of things to learn was endless!  So how has this year gone??

 

 

 

I’ve hit highest training levels with all the major cruise-lines

Received a Clia cruise experts accredited status

Had ship visits on the following ships:

P&O Oriana

P&O Ventura

Oceania Nautica

Queen Elizabeth

MSC Presioza

Caribbean Princess

Celebrity Eclipse

 

Cruised on the following ships:

Cruise and Maritime – Columbus

Norwegian Jade

P&O Ventura

Independence of the Seas

 

I’ve loved getting stuck into everything that is ‘cruise’ and found that even on work days off a ship visit has been enjoyed giving me that invaluable first-hand experience of the ship which I can then pass on to you the customers.

 

 

 

 

 

I love how far I’ve come and the positive feedback from customers especially makes it all worth while and makes my day every-time I receive a new comment.  Here are a few of my favourites:

I couldn’t get this kind of feedback without the backing of such a great company to work for in cruise.co.uk.  The ethos here is on great customer service and going the extra mile for the customer so they will come back to us again and again.  This suits me down to the ground as I love to work this way.  Although other companies may discourage this and push us to make the next sale, cruise.co.uk appreciates every customer which is why we have about 70% of our customers being repeat clients!

 

I am looking forward to a busy January and lots more years to come. talking cruises with all you lovely people ?. Oh and hopefully lots more cruises and ship visits!
