Baby On-board

I remember being pregnant with my first child during my first cruising experience on the Navigator of the Seas.  For my second cruise, she was 6 months old (to the day) and the youngest person on-board!  My Izzie was a very popular passenger and got so much attention making friends with lots of our fellow passengers and the wonderful staff on-board The Voyager of the Seas!  A customer asked me the other day whether I thought it was a good idea and manageable to bring their baby with them on the cruise and I would recommend it.  My experience was a very enjoyable one and the staff really couldn’t do enough to accommodate us.

That is not to say that the other cruise lines wouldn’t also be a great option for you and your little bundle of joy!  There are so many extras that they offer to make our lives as parents so much easier!  From special cabin equipment, such as cribs, bottle warmers and sterilisers to babysitting services so you can enjoy some you-time for the evening.  Many offer baby food and special menus for infants and high chairs in the dining rooms and some even offer children’s pools where your little one can have lots of fun splashing about!  It is best to check each cruise-line’s specific regulations regarding what they can offer and who can travel on-board however as factors such as the youngest age that child can cruise with them and whether the infant can access a swimming pool whilst not potty trained can vary from ship to ship so if you have any questions I’d be happy to help!  Take a look at our link which will give you some of this handy information before you start dreaming of some family time cruising.
