John (my husband) and I spent last weekend on P&O’s Ventura.
We sailed from Southampton on Friday and came back on Sunday morning. We spent a lovely, if rather rainy, day in Bruges on Saturday. We also ate far too much (and far too often- the dangers of a 24 hour buffet), met some lovely people, watched two really good shows, relaxed on our balcony with a good bottle of wine, had a flutter in the casino and had a thoroughly good time. Our car was parked about 100 metres from the ship and porters were available to carry any luggage and each night a chocolate was placed on my Egyptian cotton covered pillow.
What more could we ask for?

Nothing gained????… About 3lbs!!
