The Most Wonderful Time of the Year?

Now from the title above you are probably thinking that I am a good few weeks late with my latest update or slightly mad but trust me I’m not. For the vast majority of people the Most Wonderful Time is the Festive period with time off work and spending good quality time with family and friends and I love it as I’m sure you do too.

But for the Last 25 Years I have been lucky enough to work in an industry that goes crazy as soon as the 31st December is out of the way and booms into life and I love it. While everyone is depressed with dark mornings when you wake up and go off to work and the same for the journey home everyone seem to have one thing on mind………..Holidays!

I feel very lucky that as a sales person the thing that I get to sell is not a new sofa or something you think you should buy because the sales are on, No I get to sell the one thing that everyone looks forward to all year! I love the fact the phone is ringing off the hook with call after call, The fact I have an inbox full of emails, That I finish late ( Although my wife does not ) and I have to grab a quick sandwich on the go.

The fact that everyone wants something completely different cruises is what I love. So far I have been booking everything from 2 and 3 Night Mini-cruises with P&O and Royal Caribbean which are great value and fab to go with family and friends, Lot’s of families with Princess Cruises in the School Holidays on the Sapphire Princess out of Southampton as the child and 3rd and 4th passenger prices are so low. I’ve also already done a few bookings for next Christmas and New Year as Marella ( formely Thomson ) have some great prices for 2 weeks Caribbean on there new ship the Explorer, Cruise and Maritime have a Great option for any singles who don’t want to be at home over the holidays with a Christmas & New Year Canaries sailing on the 21st December 2018 starting from £1759 per person for a solo traveler. River cruises have also selling really well with APT in particular having some great genuine 1/2 price sailings on the 14 night Budapest to Amsterdam trips that take in 5 countries and 3 rivers. A group of ten have also booked one of the maiden sailings on the soon to be biggest ship in the world Symphony of the Seas which looks Amazing.

Other options I have booked so far have been further a field with Tailor Made Caribbean back to back cruise sailing with Celebrity cruises for 22 nights with a Miami stay and my favourite booking so far is a Fantastic looking repositioning cruise with MSC flying over to Buenos Aires in Argentina and doing a 22 Night sailing which finishes in Venice Italy.

I’m sure now you can see why I love January so much, It’s only the 10th and I have had these brilliant cruises to look at and book so far and I cant wait to see what other cruise ships and destinations I look at for the rest of the month.
