M.S.C. – Mesmerising Sparkle and Crystal!

There is no denying that Preziosa has pizazz! My recent trip brings my total ship tally to just under 30, 3 of which have been on MSC. Every ship has its own merits, something that commends it, but no other cruise line comes close to MSC when it comes to decor. That intrinsic Italian style and flair shines through – quite literally.

The attention to detail knows no bounds. Owned by the Aponte family who make most of their money from shipping cargo and freight then plough it into their cruise ships, MSC has to be the most stunning cruise line in the world, and full credit for the decor must go to Mrs Aponte who oversee’s it all, so I am told.

Of an evening, when the lights come on, the whole ship sparkles and twinkles and has a really special feel about it. Obviously a fair amount of this twinkle is down to the stunning Swarovski  crystal staircases – a great place to take photos!

The ship boasts an assortment of lounges on board, one to suit every mood and moment – a Jazz lounge, a Sports Bar, a Martini bar and the Safari Lounge for entertainment and dancing. Each one boasts its own unique decor and feel.

There are an assortment of restaurants to choose from on board. You can dine casually 23 hours a day in the buffet which offers and excellent selection – far better than on some other ships I have been on! The main dining room, the Golden Lobster, offers fine dining and excellent service, or you can choose to dine, at an extra charge, in one of the speciality restaurants on board. If you are looking for a ship with wow factor then you should seriously consider MSC. Their Fantasia Class ships positively ooze it!

Forget the myths about MSC. For the prices they sell their cruises at you will not get better value for money on any other cruise line. I would certainly cruise with them again any day of the week!
