Happy New Year! What will 2018 have in store for us all?

Well that’s Christmas over for another twelve months so we can all breath a collective sigh of relief. I must admit that my tree and all my decorations are down already and I am looking forward to seeing what 2018 has to offer.

2017 has been a busy year with lots of new ships and some exciting new itineraries and I have no doubt that 2018 will be more of the same. Life is never dull in the cruise industry, there is always something new and exciting to look forward to isn’t there. Some people love a new ship with new features, but for those of you who enjoy your tried and trusted ships and itineraries, they will still be available too.

So what are your plans for 2018, or even 2019? Are you cruising? Have you already booked? And where are you cruising to? I have my first trip of the year booked. I am finally going to the Norwegian Fjords! Yes, me and my lovely colleague Holly have booked a five night cruise on Fred Olsen Balmoral, departing Newcastle on 3rd May. I have wanted to go to the Fjords for so long, I am so excited and looking forward to it, and as you know I am a huge fan of Fred Olsen, they never disappoint, food, service, always spot on. Be sure to look out for updates on our trip, I am sure we will post quite a few!

For now, I would like that thank all clients, old and new, who have booked with me over the past twelve months. I have loved every minute of helping you all to arrange your perfect cruise and I look forward to speaking to you all over the next twelve months for more of the same.

So it just remains for me to wish you all a very happy, peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year, let’s hope is is a good one for us all.
