Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!

Can you believe it – another year has flown by – time definitely passes quicker the older you get. What are your resolutions for 2018 or don’t you bother making them. Mine are always the same – loose weight, get fit etc etc!

One thing I am definitely going to try and do this year is visit more exciting places.

Not that I am complaining about my holidays this year – I have been lucky enough  to visit Cyprus, Italy, Spain and Portugal – all fantastic and interesting places to visit, but what I really fancy doing this year is going back to the good old USA. I am thinking about cruising on Queen Mary from Southampton to New York – what’s your opinion though? Is it better to cruise in or out of New York? Then once in New York have a couple of nights and then make our way to Boston and see the sights around Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard etc. I know that the prices aren’t brilliant in the USA at the moment with the exchange rates but I still think it is one of my favourite places in the world – what about you?

So whilst I am thinking about my own holiday plans let me remind you that this is the time of year that we as  travel/cruise consultants look forward to the most. It’s BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. It’s the time that we really enjoy – phones constantly ringing and  lots of enquiries to get our teeth into. There are some wonderful offers out there for everyone, whether you fancy a Southampton departure, a Med adventure or something a little more exotic, there is an itinerary, ship and cabin waiting for you.
