Choosing Cruising…………
Whether your an old sea dog or a cruise virgin there is so much happening in the world of cruise right now that you need to know about.
Without exception the cruise lines are pulling out all the stops to make you choose their ships for your next cruise holiday.
Bigger ships, more technology, waterparks, Magic Carpet dining – you think of an idea and I can bet that one of the cruise lines have already got it planned in somewhere!
Only a few days ago MSC Cruises announced that they are introducing Artificial Intelligence onto the newest ship MSC Bellissima, the ship is being christened in Southampton early next year. Every cabin will have voice activated recognition, so if you want to order room service or find out what’s happening on board all you have to do is ask – and for those of you who think that everything is in Italian on an MSC ship, fear not – it is available in 7 languages.
Only this week Symphony Of The Seas, the worlds largest cruise ship has been unveiled by Royal Caribbean Cruise line. This massive ship can accommodate a massive 5518 passengers in 2759 staterooms – I think walkie talkies would be a good idea on this ship. This ship has apparently the tallest slide at sea, an amazing water park and wonderful pool areas. It’s now wonder that her maiden season in Europe is proving to be popular with all ages.
It’s not just the ” Big Boys ” that are changing with the tides – Fred Olsen have announced that for 2019/2020 their four ships will be sailing to 75 countries around the globe visiting 219 destinations and one of their ships, Boudicca is undergoing an extensive refit – that’s great news for the lovers of small ships.
And let’s not forget the ” Uk Favourite ” P & O Cruises, they are introducing a new magic and illusion show that is produced by television’s Stephen Mulherne and Jonny Wilkes. The information is top secret for now but the name of the show has been revealed as Astonishing.
So 2018 and beyond is looking very exciting for the cruise industry – don’t you agree?
