I am sure we have all seen the news this week with the British lady fallen over board and a cruise ship, every time I here about these things happening I think how why, l cant be the only one that think this, I have been on many Cruises and totally fail to see how you can just fall over board unless you are drunk and messing around on the balcony or railings I just don’t know it happens, this lady must have had some one watching over her as 10 hours in the water she spent before been saved and brought to safety, reports say she had a drunken row with partner and then some how managed o land in the water, CCTV shows when she fell over board she was alone! According to reports the events that happened cost NCL 425,000, TBH she should be held accountable for this and take some sort of reasonability we are all held accountable for our actions,
It seems that something we are hearing about more and more since 2000-2016 around 270 people have fell over board on a Cruise ship which is quite a lot,
So, could the Cruise lines be doing more to stop these things from happening should they come up with some sort of alarm system to detect if an object goes overboard, more cctv but if some one wants to jump no amount of alarms or cctv will ever stop this from happening and will continue to see and hear of these story’s,
Have you ever been on a Cruise where something major has happened would love to hear all about it?
