Jack’s Blog

My name is Jack, and this is the second blog I have done for me Mam this year, I want to write about the fantastic experience I had on the NCL Escape,

This is the biggest ship I have been on and was the best one so far, My Mam let me, and my brother pick which one we wanted to go on after our Florida stay and we picked the one with the best slides and climbing frame,

The slides where brilliant and we went on them every day, only thing is in the pool water was very salty and really stung your eyes, so we had to wear goggles for going into the pool and water slides,

The climbing frame was very good and open every afternoon, it is very high and wasn’t sure at first, but Harry was laughing at me for not going on, so I tried it and was ok, I didn’t walk the plank was a little scared,

Crazy golf was excellent and beat my Mam every time she is useless,

The kids club area looked very good and had lots of activities, but I don’t like to go in and would rather do my own thing, the games room was the best I have seen at sea every game you could think of was in there so spent a lot of my Mam’s money in this place,

I love to play ping pong and they had competitions on everyday which me and my brother entered and played against the adults, I got to the final twice but was beaten by a professional player or, so he said he was,

The food was very good on board and my favourite place to go was the Irish bar every lunch time I went and had cheesy nachos and a Hamburger, and it over looked the atrium so was always things going on films, talks and they showed all the football in there,

My best meal we had was in the Japanese on our last night it was great watching the man cook all the food in front of us and he put on a show was very good,

I would like us to go back on NCL and try a newer ship as one of them is going to have a go kart track which would love to do that, and the slides look even better,

I favourite thing about cruising is the food, seeing different places the freedom I get on board and meeting lots of new friends,
