Farewell Saga Sapphire & The Grand Finale

With so many cruise lines investing in newer ships for their fleet, this, unfortunately, means goodbye to some of the longer serving vessels. Saga Sapphire has been the flagship vessel for Saga Cruises since 2012 and last refurbished in 2016 the Award-winning boutique ship holds just 720 Passengers and 415 crew

The Grand Finale Voyage will sail from Southampton on the 6^th May 2020 from Southampton

Southampton, Motril, Spain. Valetta Malta, Messina, Sicily. Alexandria, Egypt. Ashdod, Israel Haifa, Israel. Limassol, Cyprus, Santorini, Mykonos, Istanbul, Piraeus, La Goulette, Gibraltar, Southampton

Prices start from £7505 per person for a 33-night voyage which will include all meals, 24 hour Room Service, a Choice of wines at lunch and dinner, and all gratuities

As we bid farewell to sapphire we welcome 2 new ships to the fleet – Spirit of Discovery in July 2019  and Spirit of adventure arriving Summer 2020

Construction of sagas spirit of Discovery began in February 2018, the ship will consist of 540 Balcony cabins, and great news for solo cruisers, 100 of the balconies will be designed for solo passengers.

Distinctly British cruising experience will be offered on board offering a spacious and contemporary feel, Some of the features that are currently available on Sapphire will be added to the new ship

Britannia Lounge a multipurpose hub of activity with Guest speakers throughout the day and dancing and live performances of an evening

The living room – perfect for socialising and meeting new friends serving cocktails, fresh pastries and cakes transforming to a champagne bat in the evening

A Saga first is its own onboard playhouse theatre, hosting live music, Guest entertainers and cinema screenings

The library – Grab a coffee and relax with a novel or surf the web or even join a craft class and learn a new skill
