Nieuw Statendam to Head to the Med

The latest addition to the Holland America Fleet will be homeporting in the Med for Summer 2019 for 6 months and giving guests the opportunity to sample the newest ship.

Nieuw Statendam – the latest in the Pinnacle class of ships will arrive Into Amsterdam following an inaugural winter season based In the Caribbean

The itineraries on offer from Amsterdam will be 7 and 14 Night European destinations such as the Baltic sincluding Copenhagen, Warnemunde (Berlin), Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm with an overnight in St. Petersburg, Russia., Iceland, North Cape and the Norwegian Fjords.

The ship will also offer 3 ten-day cruises covering the Eastern and Western Mediterranean before leaving Rome in October and re positioning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Did you know – The first ship of the Holland America Fleet was also called Statendam and they have had 6 Ships throughout the company’s history with the same name!

At current MS Konigsdam, MS Oosterdam and MS Prisendam are based in Europe for 2018
