Have Celebrity Got The Cruising Edge???

With all the excitement around celebrity’s latest addition to their fleet, Celebrity Edge, marked as revolutionary in its class and offering immersive destination filled itineraries and some great new innovations on board.

‘Modern Luxury’ is what you would expect from Celebrity and being the first ship to be launched by the company in 6 years, first in its class Celebrity edge will début in autumn next year with its inaugural sailing from Fort Lauderdale in December 2018 and offer 7-night sailings around the Caribbean for winter and in 2019 will be offering itineraries throughout the Mediterranean as well as a 2 night mini cruise from Southampton on the 13th May 2019 for those wanting to sample the latest ship.   

The second ship in the edge class, Celebrity Beyond, is scheduled to enter service in spring 2020. The two yet-unnamed ships will sail in Autumn 2021 and spring 2022

A True first at sea is the introduction of the magic carpet, 13 floors above sea level a unique dining experience cantilevered on the starboard side of the ship, elevated al-a-carte allowing you to experience ‘Dinner on the edge’ The movable deck is the size of a tennis court and can move up and down from decks 2 – 16 the Magic Carpet will serve as a thorough way for passengers getting on and off of tender boats making it easier for mobility challenged cruisers to get between the cruise ship and the tenders.
