Is Iona the most popular ship in the UK?

Today saw the launch of the brand new P&O Iona some 18 months before she will grace us with her presence in Southampton thousands of you have already booked in Pre-Launch and today on general sale.

I have even booked myself a little 2020 birthday treat on board.

The pricing has been so impressive with my own inside cabin costing just over £600 Per person.

There are also children’s places for free on select sailings all over the P&O summer 2020 campaign as well as the new announcement that P&O like many others will be scrapping gratuities from summer 2019 so the question is is she the most popular ship in The UK?

Well she certainly must be right now as P&O are the nations number one cruise line and she has not had a new ship in a few years. she now has another one on order for 2022 such is P&O homing in on UK growth post Brexit in this market place.

I personally have been so impressed with the pricing and itinerary for her summer May – Sept sailings doing very immersive port intensive cruising through the Norwegian Fjords.

I think P&O are showing off the ship in the Fjords as she has more glass than any other ship and has been designed with the scenery of the majestic fjords in mind. I cant think of a better place to relax than in the Sky Dome at the top of deck 16-17 where she has yest again another duplex first at sea.
