All inclusive drinks with P&O..

There have been so many cruise lines over the years assessing the All inclusive Holiday business model and most of the top cruise-lines in the industry have some sort of All inclusive drinks offering.

It appears as though with the growth P&O are experiencing and new ships on their way,  being The Uk’s favorite cruise-line they have a responsibility to move with the times and see if an all inclusive drinks package is beneficial to its customers and of course its own business plan.

They have launched an official trial to get all the essential data that is required for their all inclusive test.

The trial period will be on P&O Azura from 21st July 18 for 1 month the lucky guests will be able to purchase a drinks package on board for the first time in the ships history. There will however be some restriction in place not seen with other cruise lines. I have listed them below…

An extensive selection of beers, single measure spirits, cocktails and wines by the glass up to £6.95 per glass. Unlimited draft soft drinks, mocktails, premium Costa coffees, teapigs teas, hot chocolates and small bottled water (500ml only). A 20% discount on the following items: drinks above £6.95 per glass, bottles of wine, large bottles of water, canned and bottled soft drinks, juices and smoothies. Also, anyone travelling in the same cabin under 16 years of age will receive the Children’s Drinks Package at no additional cost.

Exclusions/restrictions include adults assigned to the same cabin must purchase the drinks package as sharing of packages is not permitted. Only available on cruises of five nights or more and must be purchased for every day of the cruise. Alcoholic drinks are limited to 15 beverages per 24-hour period (6 am to 6 am) and only one drink at a time may be ordered (minimum 15-minute wait between orders).

I think this is a great move as it offers those who drink on board the opportunity to save some money but how are you feeling about this bold decision?
