If you are a Royal Caribbean fan like myself, I am sure you are aware that the Independence of the seas will be going into dry dock in April this year getting ready for her super refurbishment for release in May 2018.
I must say when I heard the news that she was having a multi million dollar makeover I was really excited to hear of what new and exciting things would be coming onboard. Having been on the Independence for a 13 night Atlantic Island and Canary cruise 3 years, as well as speaking with many customers. It is clear to me that one of the UK’s favorite family ships was in need of this makeover.
Here are some of the stunning new features:
Two waterslides, Splashaway Bay water park, an Escape Room, a Trampoline Bungee Dome and Izumi, the Japanese dining experience. Of course she will also have a general update of common areas making her bright and sparkly.
As soon as dates were released myself and my husband Jamie set about trying to convince family members to join us in our love for cruising and try there very own maiden cruise on, in my opinion one of the finest ships around. We now have a three night cruise booked on her in May with family and I honestly can not wait to see there reactions.
If you would like to see for yourself just how incredible she is going to be, then why not book a taster cruise see below for dates.
