In a blink of an eye we are now coming into the last month of 2017, how did that happen? It just seemed like Christmas a short while ago and now we are doing it again…
We had Black Friday last weekend and if you didn’t get your cruise deals then you really did miss out as there was some fantastic offers given by the cruise lines, more cruise lines participated in this years Black Friday then ever before with some cracking bargains to be had.
Party season is upon us and we here at cruise.co are no exception, each year we have our annual conference and this is scheduled for a couple of weeks leading up to Christmas. This year we are not having the traditional 3 nights on board a ship, instead we are heading to the coast of Lincolnshire and having a 3 night party weekend at Butlin’s Skegness.
Yes, you read that right, Skegness. Something a bit different for our company, a weekend of 60’s music and fancy dress. Of course we will still be working and representing our company with a mix of guests from the various cruise lines giving us the heads up on what 2018 will bring to the cruising world.
Watch out for the next blog when I let you know how the weekend went and if I have thawed out from the cold (remember I live in Spain) and any trade information that I can give you courtesy of the guest cruise lines.
Back to the world of cruises, December traditionally can be a bit of a mixed bag for the travel industry, normally the month starts quiet and then builds up into a flurry of offers and bargains leading up to the new year, so if you have still not got your cruise booked for 2018 or even 2019 then watch out for our marketing emails with the new year offers that will flood the cruise market.
Going on previous years, some of the cruise lines will hold off on their promotions for the next few weeks, but boxing day will most likely see the start of the new campaigns with the offers normally continuing till the end of February. It really will be the time to book to get those deals and extra offers.
So if you are still unsure what floats your boat (pun intended) for your next cruise holiday check out our website cruise.co.uk or give me a call on 0330 303 8155
I am now off to pack my thermals for Skegness.
