I’m somewhere in the Atlantic

If you read my blogs you will know that last Friday I boarded the Queen Mary 2 from Southampton to New York.

I’m not home yet until this weekend and currently will be somewhere in the Atlantic!

My next blog will be with lots of content about the ship and my transatlantic experience and something that I hope I can help you book if you are considering this iconic ship and sailing.

Before I sailed, It was a busy time, we celebrated my colleagues Gina’s 60th with her family and friends. We had a beautiful meal at a restaurant called Max Beach on the Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol.

I was then back in the UK for a week (was just meant to be a few days, but QM2 changed that). It was a nice break to escape the harsh heat of the Spanish sun and also to meet the new man in our lives. You may remember from a previous blog, my best friends daughter was due to give birth. And I am pleased to say that this little fella was born on the 20th July 2017 at 5.19am weighing 6lb12ozs

I am in love and cannot wait to see him again. But for the time being, I must get back to my mojito and enjoy the last few days of my transatlantic sailing
