For years I have wanted to sail on Celebrity Eclipse, from the first moment I stepped on board during a ship visit in Malaga a few years back. I was fortunate to have a few hours seeing the ship and sampling the delights of what was on offer in the restaurant and buffet. But although I fell in love at first sight with this ship, it wasn’t enough and I have been waiting for the opportunity to sail on her.
The time has finally arrived and this coming weekend I shall be spending a few nights on board in the luxury of a Sky Suite. So, when the opportunity arose to get on board and the prices being very good with everything included, it was a must that I book a suite to experience this ship to it’s fullest. Drinks are included along with dining in the Suite Restaurant ‘Luminae’. It will be a long weekend of pure relaxation.
The ship is due to dock into Le Harve, but I have no intention of disembarking at port, I want to soak up as much of this ship as possible, because I just do not know when I might get the opportunity to be on-board again. Hopefully not too long in the near future and for a little longer than a weekend.
I must say, it will be more like a cruise.co cruise as so many of my colleagues will also be on board for this sailing. Some will be as guests of Celebrity and will be working, whilst others like myself are on board for personal time. However, I shall make time to enjoy a cocktail or two with some of my colleagues whom are on board too, as this is a rare opportunity that a lot of us can get together. especially with most of us being homeworkers and myself in Spain.
So for now I shall take what I can on this mini cruise and bore you all with photos and facts on my return.
Until next time
