The last sailing for Celebrity Century is 5th April 2015
I would like to know your thoughts on this ship, and if you would like to see Celebrity Century stay in operation?
We are in an era were ‘bigger is better’ and it seems all the new cruise ships being built are holding over 4,000+ passengers, for example the Anthem and Quantum of the Seas with Royal Caribbean. Other cruise lines like MSC are expanding their ships and everybody wants to follow.
As good as those ships are, some people just prefer a smaller ship. With Celebrity Century holding approximately 1,800 passenger’s I would like to know what you prefer? One of the Solstice Class Ships and with all the extras that a large ship brings or a smaller cruise ship?
Or can Celebrity afford to offload Century? Let’s face it they have the Millennium Class ships and they are not too much bigger holding just over 2,100 passengers.
Personally I speak to a lot of customers and some do prefer the smaller, more intimate ships. But as this seems to be a dying trend why not say farewell on her last ever voyage?
Sailing from Dubai to Singapore, taking in some breath-taking scenery along the way as well as visits in India and Sri Lanka.
After this sailing Celebrity have already agreed to sell her to a Chinese company, who may keep her in operation of some sort. But if you would like to say farewell then I can not think of to many better itineraries to do so.
Give me a call and I’ll happily put a package together for you.
