You are about to set off to go on a cruise, what must you not forget? Money, Tickets, Passport, well not anymore.
Thanks to Fred Olsen, if you would like to depart on a cruise around the UK and you do not hold a passport or a driving licence. Then it is no longer a problem, as long as you bring some photographic evidence I.E. A bus pass then you can board as usual.
The revised policy excludes any itineraries calling in Ireland but covers three departures this year.
Sales and marketing director Nathan Philpot said: “One of our most popular range of cruise holidays is our around UK voyages, where guests can experience the many delights of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, in a simple, stress-free way.
“We are now making it even easier for that proportion of the UK population who do not have a passport or photo card driving licence to enjoy our in-depth UK cruise experience, and get the chance to visit UK towns and cities that our smaller-sized ships can access.”
This will be very handy, many elderly people would love to sample a cruise and visit the British Isle’s. But do not, and have never held a passport, so get your bus passes at the ready and call us for your cruise.
