Fred Olsen has released an exciting new 2017/18 itinerary to the Indian Ocean.
Fred Olsen’s ship Boudicca will be in the Indian Ocean from 30th November 2017, with flights being offered from London or Manchester. The stunning 15 night itinerary, called “Islands of the Indian Ocean” is as follows;
Port Louis, Mauritius (overnight) ● Praslin Island, Seychelles (overnight) ● Cruising Silhouette Island at sunset ● Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles (overnight) ● Mamoudzou, Mayotte, Comoros ● Hell-ville (Andoany), Nosy-Be, Madagascar ● Diego Suarez (Antsiranana), Madagascar ● Port Reunion, Reunion ● Port Louis, Mauritius
Fred Olsen had this to say “We are very excited to share with you the breaking news of our first ever fly-cruise to the islands of the Indian Ocean. This amazing itinerary has been designed to show you every bit of paradise. Discover why the Indian Ocean offers far more than the most beautiful beaches in the world.
After flying from London or Manchester, you’ll enjoy two days in Mauritius, three days in the Seychelles, two days in Madagascar, a day on Reunion Island and a day on Mayotte. You’ll leave for the UK on 14th December, glowing in the run up to Christmas!
Hotels in the Indian Ocean, and the flights to get you there, have a reputation for being costly at this time of year, so to tailor-make a holiday like this would be too expensive for most of us to contemplate. This kind of itinerary – with prices starting at just £2,699pp, including return flights – is only possible by sea. And on a smaller ship, with fewer passengers, you’ll be able to see each destination as it’s meant to be seen – not spoilt by thousands of other guests.
This itinerary is on sale today, but has been on sale since 3rd May to Ocean Members only, giving Ocean members first choice on cabins, so be quick.
On this premium holiday, you will enjoy crystal-clear waters and famous beaches, such as Flic en Flac, with many that are on the list for ‘best in the world’, such as Anse Lazio and Cote D’Or – and there’s even the chance to visit La Digue. All could be the quintessential backdrop for many an advertisement. But the Indian Ocean offers far more than just beaches.
Explore rainforests and National Parks to discover waterfalls, extinct volcanoes and beautiful flora and fauna. You can walk with lions, discover giant tortoises and see Black Lemurs or go in search of the rare Black Parrot. You will sail by Silhouette Island at sunset, visit the largest lagoon in the Indian Ocean and snorkel stunning marine parks. Other days can be spent lying on deck as our efficient, friendly crew bring you a glass of your favourite tipple – made all the more enjoyable with our All Inclusive* drinks upgrade at just £10 per person, per day.
