CRUISE.co.uk Storm The Annual Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 Table

Cruise.co.uk is the only travel firm to feature in the latest Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list of private companies with the fastest-growing sales.

We appear in 54th position in the latest league table, notching up average sales growth over three years of 60.51%.

Compiled by Fast Track 100 and published by the Sunday Times each December a typical company will be:

• Owned and run by entrepreneurs
• Have between 50 to 500 staff
• Have an average sales growth ranging between 45% to 375% pa
• Have achieved sales figures ranging between £5m to £100m annually

Sales for 2014 came in at £30.1 million as it invested in its online platform against £7.3 million in 2011, according to the 19th annual Fast Track figures.

Founder, Andrew Gardner, and managing director, Seamus Conlon, led a management buyout of the business from Forward Group in 2013, backed by Risk Capital Partners.

Cruise.co.uk is now the UK’s biggest cruise holiday website, offering travel packages alongside discussion forums, cruise reviews and comparison tables. Employing around 175 staff and with offices recently opening in Ireland, Australia and South Africa the business model is now poised to go global.

This has led to consultants having a combined 120,000 page likes on Facebook. The main company Facebook page has another 181,000 page likes and has being visited over 17 million times in the last twelve months. This goes hand in hand with their innovative investment in all aspects of their business which has led to the company achieving £100 million worth of cruise bookings this year alone.

With growth set to continue and with further investment into the company, 2016 is set to be the best yet.
