Kate to become Godmother
We are delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge has been confirmed as the official godmother to the new Royal Princess cruise ship. Princess Cruises has a history of celebrated godmothers including Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren and Diana, Princess of Wales (who named the original Royal Princess ship in 1984) among others.
The Royal Princess will be arriving in Southampton on the 7th where she will commence a series of events for customers and travel agents with the official naming ceremony taking place on the 13th June which is sure to be the highlight of the week.
I have been fortunate enough to have been invited to attend the celebrations on the 9th June so I’m really looking forward to being one of the first people to stay on board and enjoy being wined and dined!!
