Web Series Celebrates Norwegian Cruise Line’s History Of Cruising

A new web series produced by Norwegian Cruise Line celebrates the iconic cruising brand and its pioneering holiday experiences at sea.

The latest Embark with NCL Series, “The Evolution of Innovation” documents Norwegian Cruise Line’s most groundbreaking moments and firsts in the cruising industry.

Viewers of the three-part series are guided through NCL’s storied journey, from being the first cruise line to offer roundtrip voyages to the Caribbean in 1966 to their brand new Prima Class of ships.

NCL will unveil its latest vessel Prima this August, providing expansive, open deck spaces, premium and spacious accommodation and first-rate service on board this 3,000 guest capacity ship.

In each episode of Embark, an element of NCL’s guest-centered focus is illustrated through the unique perspectives of NCL executives, staff members, loyal guests and individuals who played key roles in NCL’s evolution as a cruise brand and never-before-seen interviews and archived footage.

“Since 1966, Norwegian Cruise Line has set industry-leading standards for the ultimate vacation experience. ‘The Evolution of Innovation’ documents the Company’s pioneering heritage and provides a look into the future, one built on creativity, style and an uncompromising commitment to our guest.”

Harry Sommer, Norwegian Cruise Line President and Chief Executive Officer

The three episodes as part of the web series include “History of Innovation,” “The Evolution of Entertainment” and “The Future of the Cruise Experience.”

All episodes will appear on www.ncl.com/embark and on NCL’s Facebook page.
