MSC cruises have exclusively announced their plans to expand into Abu Dhabi, the Caribbean and North America.
Starting from the end of this year MSC Cruises will be offering sixteen seven day sailings aboard MSC Musica, which will be in its home port of Dubai. Passengers can opt to fly to Dubai to board the ship or even begin their holiday in Dubai before embarking.
MSC’s executive director Giles Hawke is incredibly proud of the itineraries;
“Our Dubai, Emirates and Oman itinerary has proved to be immensely popular since it began in 2011.
“MSC Cruises is unlike other cruise lines in that we offer multiple embarkation ports on many of our sailings around the world. Being able to offer fly-cruise holidays from Dubai and Abu Dhabi demonstrates our commitment to the destination and our flexibility.”
Dubai isn’t the only destination which will be seeing more of MSC as MSC Seaside will be based in Miami year-round when it launches in 2017, giving the line easy access to popular itineraries including New York, the Caribbean and Alaska.
Hopefully this won’t be a repeat of the MSC Divina, which was based in Miami in 2013 to stay there year-round, before being moved back to Europe in 2015 after disappointing numbers of bookings.
