Spectrum of the Seas will be the first in Royal Caribbean’s Quantum Ultra class, scheduled to arrive in 2019.
President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, Michael Bayley, has commented on the ship: “Spectrum will be another giant leap forward in vessel design and guest experiences that will provide travellers with ample opportunities to create unforgettable memories.”
Further details of the ship are yet to be announced, but cruisers do know that Spectrum of the Seas will be at least 167,000 gross tonnes and carry over 4,100 guests at double occupancy.
Here is what we do know to expect from Spectrum of the Seas:
Sky Pad
This will only be the second Royal Caribbean ship to feature this (after Independence of the Seas)!
Guests will be able to spring into a virtual world on this bungee trampoline experience.
The North Star
Royal fans will already be familiar with this breathtaking feature; guests will be taken 300ft above sea level for views second to none.
Sichuan Red
This is where guests can sit down to an authentic Sichuan feast with unbelievable ocean views at the same time.
Splashaway Cafe
Ideal for families where the little ones can be treated to a snack-a-thon made just for them at the vibrant, poolside Splashaway Cafe!
Ultimate Family Suite
This is a room for family adventures with two expansive stories of awesome thrills on every level- even in the form of your very own in-suite slide.
There’ll never be a queue there to a private 3D cinema that’s perfect for karaoke nights and making family memories!
The Key to VIP Access
Guests can choose from two tiers of luxury and unlock exclusive access to the Golden Suites (a world of inclusive amenities and service of a fantastic standard).
