Royal Caribbean has revealed the first images of their new ship, Oddysey of the Seas. She will be the first in the Quantum Ultra Class that will debut in 2020, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
This will be Royal Caribbeans 27th ship in the fleet and is purposely built for island hopping. She will be relocated to Rome ready for the 2021 summer season.
The ship will offer a North Star viewing pod sitting at 300ft above sea level, with 360 degrees views and a two-level pool deck with two open-air, resort-style pools and 4 whirlpools.
From classics to new VR experiences, the SeaPlex will feature crowd favourites such as bumper cars, trapeze school and glow in the dark laser tag. A classic for Royal Caribbean ships, Odyssey will have the FlowRider surf simulator and SkyPad bungee trampoline experience also on the fun-packed top deck.
The fun doesn’t stop just because the sun goes down. Two7o is the place to go for spectacular aerialist performances and groundbreaking multimedia live shows.
From Italian to Japanese, Odyssey of the Seas has some of Royal Caribbeans premier restaurants on board. Whether you’re looking for a gourmet experience or a laid back bite there are over thirteen dining options onboard to choose from. If you want t0 round your night off with an after dinner coffee or post-show drink you will have the choice of nine venues to unwind and socialise.

“This Quantum Ultra class ship introduces a new way to see the world as she becomes our first purposefully built vessel for island hopping on both sides of the Atlantic.”
