Princess Cruises has announced yet another celebrity collaboration, this time pairing up with 13-time World Pizza Champion, Chef Tony Gemignani.
Exclusively for Princess Cruises, Chef Gemignani has created five unique pizzas, each with an exciting blend of flavours and premium ingredients- from Soppressata sausage and hot honey to Gorgonzola and sweet fig preserve. This new collaboration further enhances the cruise line’s position as offering the Best Pizza at Sea.

The artisan, hand-crafted pizzas will initially debut at Alfredo’s onboard the new Sun Princess, with future plans to extend to the rest of Princess Cruises’ fleet this summer. To ensure Princess chefs can masterfully replicate the original pizzas at sea, they will all receive specialised training under the guidance of Chef Gemignani himself from his Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco.
As the most decorated pizzaiolo in American history, Chef Gemignani is an award-winning chef, restaurateur, master instructor, philanthropist, founder of Slice House by Tony Gemignani, plus an author. After opening his first restaurant in San Francisco during 2009 (Tony’s Pizza Napoletana), it was met with immediate success; being named the best pizzeria by USA Today and top pizza restaurant by the Travel Channel.

Chef Gemignani’s specially designed pizzas will take centre stage at Alfredo’s and Gigi’s speciality pizzerias onboard Princess Cruises ships, which offer enticing menus of freshly prepared, individual-size pizzas, salads, wine, beer, and more.
