Work Officially Begins On Fourth Ship For Princess’ Royal Class

It has just been announced that another giant new Princess ship is now officially under construction. The steel cutting ceremony of the bow section was held earlier this month at Fincantieri shipyard in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy. The new build design will follow sister ships, Royal, Regal and Majestic Princess, and is scheduled for delivery in 2019. Breaking News: Princess Cruises Announces Brand New Ship

Breaking News: It’s just been announced that Princess Cruises have confirmed an order with Fincantieri, the Italian ship building yard, for a brand new cruise ship that will be ready to launch by 2019. The new cruise liner will be sister ship to the Royal Princess (launched in Southampton by HRH, The Duchess of Cambridge in 2013), the Regal Princess (launched in 2014) and the Majestic Princess which is scheduled to be launched next year. Hit BBC Show ‘The Voice’ Comes to Princess Cruises

Fans of hit TV show “The Voice” will be excited to learn that Princess Cruises will soon be featuring the massively popular contest at sea. Select cruises will feature “The Voice of the Ocean” in which any guests over sixteen years of age will be able to sing their hearts out to a panel of judges. Wannabe stars can audition either during specially held karaoke session’s or direct in one of the ships lounges. The initial rounds will be decided by guests and cruise staff judging if a singer is good enough to move to the next stage of the competition. Sadly Tom Jones and the other star guests won’t be on board, but the final judges will be comprised from high ranking staff on-board including the cruise director and the captain. The judges will then choose their teams out of the remaining contestants and coach them until the competition ends. Cruise Entertainment Of The Year Announced

Recently guests on board Crown Princess had their say when it came to choosing Cruise Entertainer of the Year 2015. Comedians, magicians, vocalists, tribute bands and novelty performers are just some genres from hundreds of acts that perform on board Princess Cruises on a yearly basis. The top four of these talented artists were short-listed and performed to hundreds of guests on board the Crown Princess. The guests then cast their ballot and selected Ben Seidman for Princess Cruise’s Entertainer of the Year, who along with the title won a cash prize of $5,000! Seidman (who currently stars in magic outlaws on the travel channel) was the first person in history to be named the resident magician at Mandalay Bay Resort and casino in Las Vegas. His success is believed to be down to his well-known energetic and playful performances that combine stand-up comedy and world renowned sleight of hand.     Guests on board the cruise to Mexico were entertained by the live performances from each of the performers before the result was determined by the entertainment department who based the results on the guest’s votes as well as the response of the audience.
