Michel Roux Joins Cunard For Exclusive 2025 Sailings

Cunard has revealed that two Michelin-starred chef, Michel Roux, will return for an exclusive series of Le Gavroche at Sea residencies in 2025.

The highly esteemed chef will oversee four La Gavroche residences across four 2025 Norwegian Fjords sailings, two of which will take place onboard the new Queen Anne and flagship, Queen Mary 2, between April and August.

The first five-night takeover will be hosted by Queen Mary 2 at The Verandah during her her seven-night roundtrip Norwegian Fjords itinerary on 6th April 2025. During this exciting sailing, guests will be treated to a five-course tasting menu infused with all the flavours of the sea, finessed using the very best produce.

Following this, Roux will then host another residency onboard Queen Anne at Sir Samuels for her Norwegian Fjords cruise on 11th May 2025, where guests can also expect an eclectic variety of Roux’s signature seafood specialities and elevated culinary classics.

Roux will then return on to Queen Mary 2 on 15th August 2025 for another intimate takeover of The Verandah, before completing his La Gavroche residencies on Queen Anne from 31st August 2025.

I am hugely excited to get back onboard and showcase the beauty of Norwegian seafood to Cunard guests.”

Elevated Experience

In addition to hosting the exclusive residencies, Roux will also be launching another elevated seafood concept.

Oysters at The Champagne Bar (onboard Queen Mary 2) and Oysters at Carinthia Lounge (onboard Queen Anne) will both be serving exquisite Norwegian seafood every night of their respective voyages, available by walk-in only.

Furthermore, during each voyage, Roux will host a live cooking demonstration in the Royal Court Theatre and also appear as an Insight Speaker. Guests will also have book signing opportunities during these sailings.

Le Gavroche at Sea reservations will be an additional charge for guests sailing on these exclusive Cunard Norwegian Fjords itineraries, with venue takeovers catering for up to 60 diners in The Verandah and up to 50 diners in Sir Samuels each evening.
