Highlights Of New Dishes Onboard Seven Seas Grandeur
Compass Rose
In the newly designed eatery Compass Rose, which will be known as the signature specialty restaurant onboard Seven Seas Grandeur, diners will be able to design their own dinner, from starters to mains and sides!
There will be 13 new options to choose from, including a delicious Maine lobster risotto served with a mascarpone-leek fondue; Black Angus striploin accompanied by fingerling potatoes and parmesan broccoli stems with a smoky romesco sauce; or a tuna tataki made with Sichuan pepper, vegetable tartar, miso aioli, radish and sesame.
Prime 7
Elegant steakhouse Prime 7 will serve a new lunch menu, alongside a decadent sharing plate of grilled meats, such as clandestine entrecote, D’Artagnan chicken, Galician chorizo and New Zealand lamb chops, made for two. The restaurant itself has been redesigned by Studio DADO, and will feature a wall of black and white photography and antique leather travel cases as decoration plus Persian carpets and moody lighting.
There will be a whole host of mouthwatering dishes as part of the steakhouse’s main menu, including 28-day dry-aged prime beef steaks; a new plant-based option of Impossible Salisbury Steak served with French fries, roasted tomato, and truffle butter; Black Angus beef empanadas and salsa cruda; plus country fried chicken, bacon mashed potatoes, scallions, buttermilk biscuit and chipotle dipping sauce.
Chartreuse
A trio of new dishes on the menu in Chartreuse, a classy establishment serving French fare, have been inspired by 3-Michelin Star fine dining restaurant L’Auberge du Vieux Puits. The new recipes include halibut viennoise with fennel, porcini, spinach and veal jus; soupe de poissons with brandade, mussels, aioli and seed crisp; and velouté de champignons consommé, egg yolk confit and truffle cappuccino.
Additionally, Chartreuse’s complimentary wine selection will now encompass four Gerard Bertrand wines including Heritage Kosmos, a full-bodied organic red made up of a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre grape varieties.
The chic restaurant itself has also been designed by Studio DADO, and will have its own leather-wrapped and marble-topped bar, Art Deco-inspired lighting and a unique undulating wall, which Regent Seven Seas say is influenced by the distinct Art Nouveau vibe of Paris’ own metro.
Pacific Rim
In Pacific Rim, a serene eatery boasting bold artwork and flavourful pan-Asian delights, guests will be able to indulge in two new mains and four new desserts onboard Seven Seas Grandeur.
The new mains comprised duck confit adobo accompanied by adlai risotto, XO sauce, foie gras and shimeji mushrooms; and a plant-based poke salad made of vegetable crudité, tofu, avocado, wakame, miso and sesame. Guests with a sweet tooth will love the new dark chocolate and passion fruit cake with mango-chilli sorbet; green tea matcha cheesecake; and Thai coconut and tapioca pudding with lemon-grass syrup.
Sette Mari at La Veranda
Serving meals mirroring the tastes of Italy, Sette Mari at La Veranda – situated at the very top of Seven Seas Grandeur – will ooze cool and calm dining at sea.
The restaurant’s refined menu will focus on heritage and take inspiration from the Puglia region. New dishes include sformato di ricotta, a ricotta and parmesan cheese tart with tomato basil sauce; cozze alla marinara e pepperoncino, black mussels in a sauce of garlic, chilli flakes, fresh tomatoes, white wine and parsley; and courgette Ripiene, baked courgette stuffed with slow roasted prime rib, herbs and parmesan cheese in a tomato sauce; among others
Avid foodies and Regent Seven Seas fans can taste all of the new dining options onboard Seven Seas Grandeur this November. After the ship’s sparkling debut, she will travel on a range of itineraries throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
