Impressive New Bars and Nightlife Venues Unveiled on Icon of the Seas

Exciting new details of fantastic bars and evening spaces which will light up Royal Caribbean’s latest mega-ship, Icon of the Seas, have finally been revealed!

The ship will set sail for the first time in January 2024, and Royal Caribbean has confirmed that there will be 15 bars and nightlife spaces to enjoy, including returning Royal Caribbean venues and all-new hotspots. All these venues are a part of the more than 40 ways holiday-makers can drink, dine, and stay entertained onboard Icon of the Seas.

We’ve set out to introduce a new kind of vacation in every sense and taken a blank slate to create an unparalleled blend of ways vacationers can celebrate and make memories whatever their mood, vibe and style.

From all-new venues and bolder favourites to new iconic drinks on every menu, zero-proof cocktails and twists to classics, there’s something for everyone to make the most of their nights out on Icon of the Seas.

Linken D’Souza, vice president, food and beverage, Royal Caribbean International.

Icon of the Seas will feature fresh music-themed venues, including Lou’s Jazz ‘n Blues, located in the open-air Central Park, which will host live soulful and jazz performances, and Dueling Pianos where talented pianists will battle on baby grand pianos playing crowd-favourite hits on the Royal Promenade.

Cocktail connoisseurs will love the novel meetup spot 1400 Lobby, located on the Royal Promenade, with its outdoor terrace, terrific ocean views, and drinks developed in collaboration with mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. Coffee addicts can head over to Rye & Bean, a new location ideal for sipping hot cappuccinos and espresso cocktails. This venue is located in AquaDome, where deck-defying entertainment is performed in the AquaTheater by night.

More fantastic lookout points can be found in AquaDome, at the Overlook and Overlook Pods. This elevated lounge is peppered with private nooks perfect for playing board games or having a few drinks with friends.

For something more decadent, Bubbles, a walk-up champagne window in Central Park, will serve up prosecco, Bellinis, and mimosas on tap all day, every day. And, for those craving a slice of home while away on Icon of the Seas, Point & Feather on the Royal Promenade is a fantastic English pub-like new venue where you can sip a pint of beer and enjoy a game of darts.

Alongside these all-new venues, Royal Caribbean fan favourites, such as the Trellis Bar, club Boleros, signature Schooner Bar, intimate club The Attic, the rocking and rolling Music Hall, gameday hub Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, and sign your heart out spot Spotlight Karaoke, will also be onboard Icon of the Seas.

When Icon of the Seas launches in 2024, she will voyage on a number of seven-night itineraries around the Caribbean from Miami year-round, all available to book now!
