During the summer of 2020, Royal Caribbean International’s Explorer of the Seas will sail the Eastern Mediterranean and will be debuting a whole range of brand new features for you to experience onboard following it’s $110m renovation!
The ship will also feature a lot of the classic Royal Caribbean activities onboard such as FlowRider surf simulator and a decked-out Sports Court including the infamous rock climbing wall.
Here’s a break down of all the exciting things you can expect to see on board in 2020;
The Perfect Storm – A pair of waterslides where you and a friend can go head to head and race to the bottom.
A Reimagined Poolscape – Get those island vibes in this new resort-style area of the ship. Kick back in a hammock and soak up the sun or star-gaze to your heart’s content.
The Lime & Coconut – Royal Caribbean’s signature poolside bar serving up live music, holiday style cocktails and the best views from the rooftop deck.
Not only are there more activities for you to take part in, but there is a wide range of new culinary experiences for you to enjoy;
Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen – A new take on its signature Italian restaurant offering a new contemporary take on classic dishes
Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade – Broadcasting all your favourite sports whilst you enjoy some yummy bar snacks
Johnny Rockets Express – Located poolside, grab some classic American favourites
Starbucks – You won’t need to go without your favourite hot beverage on board with Starbucks offering it’s signature drinks and pastries
They’ve also decided to add some additional activities exclusively for the younger travellers;
Glow-in-the-dark laser tag – Team up and take on the latest challenge ‘Clash for the Crystal City’ debuting in Studio B (doubles as an ice-skating rink)
Adventure Ocean – The award-winning program for younger guests has had a makeover including a new layout with whimsical and immersive activities.
Exclusive Teen Hangout – Not only does the hangout have a new look and feel but it will also include the latest movies, gaming and music for your teens to enjoy PLUS a private outdoor deck.
Explorer of the Seas will debut its brand new $110m makeover 7th May 2020 departing from Rome (Civitavecchia) exploring the best of Italy and the Greek Isles and we can’t wait to hear what you think!
