Highlights Onboard

SkyDome

The SkyDome is one of the most unique features to Iona. With its glass dome roof and spacious layout, passengers will be able to soak up the natural light when present in the SkyDome. SkyDome sits on two decks; deck 16 is where you’ll find the action happening, with food and drink available, as well as a swimming pool, sun loungers and whirlpools. By day it’s a relaxation sanctuary and by night it transforms, the retractable stage offers a new venue for spectacular shows and performances.

The award-winning British designer and engineer of the SkyDome Eckersley O’Callaghan, said the following: “SkyDome gives guests a spectacular feeling of connection with the ocean and sky. The design is so beautiful, and the materials used to construct it are of such high quality, that I have no doubt people will be awed by it.”

Salcombe Gin

P&O Cruises and Salcombe Gin have partnered up to become the first-ever Gin distillery at sea, this will be among the other first to be onboard Iona. Iona will have its own custom gin that will be distilled, bottled and labelled all on board. The distillery will also be offering two masterclasses; tastings and mixology classes. Offering passengers an opportunity to taste and create with this uniquely produced gin.

Ocean Studios

Here’s one for the film buffs: Ocean Studios on deck 6 offers a warm welcome, comfortable seating and a relaxing environment in which to be entertained and enjoy a premium cinema experience. Four cinema screens will show both classics and recent blockbusters in surround sound.

710 Club

It’s all about the music at The 710 Club. Located on deck 6, it’s a secret haven – exclusively for adults – in which to relax and enjoy the musical atmosphere, day or night. During the day, it’s a retreat from the hustle and bustle, offering something a little different. At night, it transforms into a sophisticated venue hosting a diverse range of top-class singers and bands tailored to British tastes.

Singer, songwriter, producer and performer … Gary Barlow’s many talents speak for themselves. And now, he has taken on the exciting role of P&O Cruises brand ambassador. This pioneering partnership will fuse music with amazing travel experiences to deliver spine-tingling moments on board, with Gary’s debut role as musical director of The 710 Club on Iona.

There will never be a dull moment onboard Iona, with a vast range of adult and family-friendly activities on offer. P&O Cruises have reimagined their classic cruising style ships and have introduced a range of firsts at sea for Iona.
