For the first time ever Cunard’s Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth united on the River Mersey for what has been dubbed a “dance” in celebration of Cunard’s incredible milestone.
Cunard’s main event took place in Liverpool on Monday, with the three vessels gracefully sailing together along the River Mersey before rotating and forming an impressive arrowhead formation.

The spectacle culminated in nine jets from the famous Red Arrows flying overhead, featuring the best pilots from the Royal Air Force’s Aerobatic Team.
As the ships sailed down the river the Red Arrows flew in formation overhead, treating both Liverpool residents and Cunard passengers to a spectacle not likely to be forgotten.
