Four New Ships To Join Disney Cruise Line Fleet!

Family-friendly Disney Cruise Line has announced that it will be adding four new cruise ships to its mighty fleet, due to be debuted between 2027 and 2031.

The news was announced by Chairman of Disney Experiences, Josh D’Amaro, at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, whereby a number of other major announcements, including new attractions at Disney Parks and new Disney films, were also revealed.

“Disney Cruise Line is consistently the top-rated cruise line for families because it offers something for everyone. Expanding our fleet gives more people, in more parts of the world, the opportunity to experience a vacation at sea like only Disney can provide.”

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, said at Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase.

The four new ships will join Disney Cruise Line’s current fleet, including Disney Wish, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Magic and Disney Wonder, plus four other ships, including Disney Treasure, Disney Adventure,  Disney Destiny, and an unnamed ship, already being built. In total, the cruise line’s fleet will eventually balloon to a whopping 13 cruise ships.

Details of the new ships’ names, designs and cruising itineraries are still under wraps and are due to be revealed by Disney at a later date.

However, Disney Cruise Line fans did get a sneak peek at all-new Broadway-style stage shows being debuted onboard Disney Destiny and Disney Treasure. Disney Hercules, based on the animated hit film, will be taking to the stage on Disney Destiny when the show officially sets sail in November 2025, and Disney The Tale of Moana premieres on Disney Treasure in late 2024.
