Cruising is no longer the sole preserve of the recently retired. In recent years more and more cruise lines have started to focus on the 'family friendly' markets as people decide to take their children cruising with them. However taking a child, toddler or baby on a cruise isn't as easy as taking them on a land based holiday, (don't worry, it's still not hard!), it just needs a little more planning. Below you'll find everything you might need when you're cruising with a baby, toddler or child.

Baby monitor – Important if you want to sit out on your balcony in peace.

Blankets – The cruise line will provide these but baby might prefer their favourite from home
Clothes – One outfit for each day plus three extra as spare – T Shirts, shorts, jeans, jumpers, baby-grows etc. for any accidents.

Hand sanitizer
Medication – If required. Remember to bring enough for the length of the cruise
